We tend to extract honey only ones during the beekeeping season. Depending on weather conditions we harvest the surplus honey from our hives in August. In 2018 we installed a small beehouse next to the hives which makes the extraction very seamless. We are moving honey frames directly from the hive into the beehouse and after uncapping the closed cells we are immediately extracting the honey. After straining the honey through a double sieve it goes straight into our bottling buckets. This honey comes as raw as it can be. Main sources for the honey are wildflowers and blackberries.
